Corolla beach house

The house has a great layout. The beds are very comfortable. It’s close enough to the beach and you can see the ocean from the house. Someone had unhooked the Roku so it took us a while to get the tv going. NCAA tournament so we had to have tv. I’ve never stayed at a house without cable tv so a heads up would have been nice.it should have said bring your passwords!

Great location. Nicely laid out home. Perfect for couple or smaller group. Nice deck with view of the ocean. Home is well furnished and appointed, comfortable beds. Linens provided. We will be back. 😊

Its the little things...

While our stay was enjoyable, the home stylish and comfortable there are some details things that could have made it better. The home was mostly clean inside. The exterior porches needed a cleaning. The outdoor furniture coverings were so dirty, we didn't really use them. There were nails sticking up a little from the floor and they were not comfortable to bare feet. One of the wicker chairs broke under my weight (I'm not huge). The outdoor shower is handy. When we arrived a smoke alarm battery was low and beeping. We removed it from the ceiling and looked for batteries, there were none. It took at least 3 days for someone to come and repair it. The outside trash cans were overflowing upon our arrival and very smelly. We had to take those to the curb. The linen supply for the 6 of us was paltry, so plan to wash towels if you go. There is a sleeper sofa that our little one was going to sleep on but there were no sheets for it. There is no dining room or table for dinner. The island has 4 chairs. There is no outdoor table. Before we went we had asked if some outdoor/beach convenience items were there (as shown in the pictures) Vacasa informed us they were no there, so we bought the items for our trip. Upon arrival boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrellas and a grill were all there for use. It is very nice that all these things were available for use, however it would have been nice to know and it would have saved us some money and packing effort.
