The home is nestled amongst mature Ponderosa Pine, Gambel Oak and forest gardens for the real mountain town experience. Wildlife such as deer, fox and various backyard birds are sighted frequently. The home decor has a cozy, modern rustic feel. Recently remodeled, it offers upscale furnishings throughout, hardwood hickory floors and beautiful kitchen with natural alder wood cabinets and radiant floor heating. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need from dishware to barware! The bright sunlit living room has private wooded views....perfect for reading and planning all your local excursions. The living room area has TV with Fire TV Stick for streaming, books, maps and trail guides for the local area. With fast high-speed internet, you'll have plenty of speed to work & stream movies at the same time. The primary bedroom provides a Serta California King bed with woods view, electric fireplace and private ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a modern, platform queen bed. Great, comfortable, well supplied home.

This house was so comfortable! We like to cook in and this house had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The kitchen was well stocked. Outside there’s a nice grill and a cozy propane fire pit on a comfy patio that makes the end of the day so relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay! The rest of the house was also well supplied. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the large screen tv was great! They even provided fresh cut flowers to brighten our visit. We would highly recommend this home!

Wonderful place

It you want a place that is close to downtown and hidden in nature this is the place. We stayed here while attending our daughter’s graduation. The place is clean, and in quiet neighborhood. Mary and Eric are quick to respond to any questions you have. The beds are very comfortable. It was nice to sit on the porch drinking my coffee and watch the deer and squirrels.

The house was perfect. Quiet location but near old downtown.Everything we needed was at the house and stores nearby.Central location for National Parks and so many other sites to see. Seven days was not enough.We had snow and the walks were shoveled early morning so no problem getting out.Eric and Mary were the BEST, helpful in everyway.We will definitely stay there again when in the area.Thank you Mary and Eric for the wonderful stay at your house in Flagstaff.

Amazing experience

The owner of the home was not only above all expectations but she made us feel like family during our stay. The property itself was decorated so well but on top of that she made sure that we would not need for anything. The view of the stars was so great to see and their fire pit was a great addition that helped to pull it together. All in all, the visit was amazing thanks to the owner and all of her special touches to the property.

Great Arizona Vacationj

We stayed at Eric and Mary's cabin to visit the Grand Canyon. The cabin is very clean and spacious. You are right in town but feel like you are in the forest. It is centrally located to Williams and Sedona area. We had a wonderful stay. Eric and Mary are excellent hosts! Highly recommend.

Nice place, quiet, clean. Need to replace the king bed. Need to replace the walkway and steps leading down to the cottage, major trip and fall exposure. Need to upgrade HVAC. Need to treat for insects inside the cottage. The deck and grill are nice features. The trees and wildlife are great. Wi-fi worked well, one outage. Well stocked towels, blankets, supplies, etc.

Hideaway

We stayed here during spring break. Nice, clean cozy home. We enjoyed our stay here and Easter was spent indoors playing games since there was about 6" of snow and too cold to do much of anything. Good area to go check out a majority of the sites we wanted to see during our visit. Would recommend staying in this cozy house.

Beautiful and cozy cabin

The pictures do not capture the beauty and coziness of this cabin. So close to all the restaurants, shops, Lowell observatory and Snowpark. Saw amazing elks outside the master bedroom window. It is truly magical here. And the owners are very kind and prompt to respond to any questions or comments. You will not be disappointed.

Great “Base Camp” for Day Trip Adventures

This served as our home base for several day trips to GCNP, Horseshoe Bend, Sedona and more. The home was just what we needed with plenty of space for four adults. Spacious kitchen with everything we needed to make breakfast (we dined out for other meals). The gas fire pit was nice to enjoy the evening at home. We enjoyed a night at the Lowell Observatory and got to see Saturn thru a large telescope. Two tips if you are arriving at night the place is not well lit on the street corner and the parking space is above the sidewalk entrance. There was a car parked on this concrete pad which made us wonder if we were at the right place. I suspect a neighbor was borrowing the spot for the entire week. Second tip is the top of the sidewalk can be muddy, didn’t notice this at night until we were inside the home with dirt/mud on our suitcase wheels. In all a great place to stay and would recommend it to friends and family.

Private, wooded lot. Owners Mary and Eric were incredibly responsive. Comfortable beds with all cotton bedding. AC was a plus for some warm days but nights are cool and it was such treat sleeping with open windows and the smell of pine trees. Well stocked kitchen with large refrigerator. Very roomy great room with lots of windows. Will definitely be coming again!

Our place in the woods

We loved our accommodations in the woods. Well stocked kitchen and very quiet at night. Great deck for sitting on with privacy. Close to hiking in Buffalo Park and easy access to downtown restaurants and other attractions. Flagstaff was a great escape from the heat in Tucson. We absolutely loved our stay. Stayed 4 nights in Eric & Mary's property, and it was very nice. Stylishly decorated 3- bedroom place with washer and not one, but 2 dryers! :-) We were visiting family in the area, and the location was just right. Eric was very responsive & friendly!

Amazing stay. Perfect

This was a wonderful stay and met all our needs. Very clean which I greatly appreciated. The place was well-maintained and quiet. It met all of our needs. We enjoyed the town of Flagstaff ( a short drive down the road) and easy/beautiful trips to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Eric and Mary offered their assistance and cared about our stay.
