I was pleasantly surprised with this resort. The food at lunch at the beach bar was very good. The room was beautiful and huge. The only thing that was a little lacking was snacks between meals and the fact that it is a little remote but overall everything was great.

The Sunshine Marine Lodge is 20 miles (33 kilometers) from the center of East Coast Zanzibar, while the Zanzibar House is 15 miles (25 kilometers) away. Alternative budget room options are the Kichanga Lodge and the Coral Rock Hotel.

You could also try the Matemwe Retreat - All Inclusive and also the Anna of Zanzibar - All Inclusive.
