This unit needs attention. The kitchen cabinets are smeared with dirt, the kitchen utensils and cookware are low quality and old. There was a single large knife that was very dull. The unit was reasonably clean, but still found dead bugs and debris on the floor. The master closet smelled like a dog kennel and was unusable. The sink in the master bath had only a trickle of water pressure. And the shower in the other bathroom, the temperature adjustment lever was impossible to adjust. Why a 9 digit code for the door lock? Excessively long and inconvenient. We probably won't rent a property owned or managed by Vacasa again.

Do better with cleaning.

First on the way to the unit I do the verification and it denied me for whatever reason. I had to call and be on hold forever but finally fixed it. Then get to the unit and the bathrooms were very very dirty. the whole place smelt really bad. I’ve stayed near the beach before plenty of times this was worse. I went to buy products to clean the bathrooms myself because I can’t shower in a dirty bathroom.

Beautiful and cozy condo

The condo was just as advertised and pictures were spot on. It had an amazing balcony and roomy bedrooms. We had trouble with the tv’s and could only get one to work. Not a big deal for us but with kids it might be a problem. I messaged the number for customer service and got what appeared to be an AI response. I didn’t get any help or instruction on how to get the tv’s to work and when I stated that we would just go without tv there was no apology or attempt to fix the problem. There was also an issue with the water temperature in the showers. It went from cold to very hot and it was difficult to get anything in between. Both were minor problems for our weekend getaway but I’ve seen many other reviews with similar problems and they have not been addressed. Overall it was a lovely place to spend a weekend and we enjoyed it very much.

off-season at Mustang Island Beach Club

This was our first time at the Beach Club location. Overall we enjoyed it very much. Easy to get to and from and a very nice deck overlooking the pool area. Despite the rain showers we were able to sit outside and enjoy the breeze. Inside it had very nice comfortable beachy decor, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with plenty of towels. We also appreciated the washer/dryer and the many pool towels that were provided (tho we brought our own). We only had breakfast/lunch at the condo so we didn't need much in the kitchen. [Glad we brought our own kitchen towels along with a box of coffee fixings.] On the down side was the long walk to the boardwalk-beach access. Because of the rain, flooding and mosquitoes we could not make it to the boardwalk. There was a pond in front. We later learned that there is no ramp - just stairs. It was too far for this senior duo. We chose to get in the car and drive to a beach access road just 2 miles away. One other problem that we encountered and which we shared via text to Vacasa were the roaches. Tiny, yes. But found in 3 rooms. Suggested that they get the pest control out there soon.

Nice place to stay

~Close, covered parking was a plus. ~Had purposely contacted guest services as I was packing to ask about amenities for a dog. Was told there was a dog bed, but no feeding station. However, when we arrived the bed was not there. Reaching guest services the second time took much longer. This time I was told there wasn't one provided. Err on the side of caution and bring ALL you would need for your furry friend! ~Walk to beach was not too long-unburdened, about 5 minutes. The walkway bridge could definitely use some updating. ~This beach allows vehicles, so if you have a lot of gear it's better to drive to the access road approx. 3 miles away. (Vehicle also serves as a great wind block!) Beach access pass needed ($12). We purchased from beach security officer. Trucks make many passes giving great sense of safety and order. ~Kitchen fully stocked with everything you could need. Coffee pot and Keurig available-BYO coffee. Plenty of ice cube trays. ~Upstairs guest noise was quite noticeable. ~Beds very comfy. Many extra pillows available but not many blankets. ~Large pool towels provided. ~Bathrooms fully stocked with everything you need - towels, soaps, TP, hairdryer. ~Washer/dryer and laundry soap available. ~Kid friendly rentals so be prepared for that level of activity/noise at the pool/jacuzzi. Pool hours are not strictly enforced so waking to screaming kiddos is a good possibility.

Adorable condo

We loved the condo! It was very clean and decorated superbly. Patio was wonderful. Not being beach front, it was too far to walk to the beach. The pool was very clean but small. The grounds were not landscaped well, though the grass was mowed. There were sugar ants in the kitchen and we killed several roaches in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Having lived in Corpus, I realize this is a constant struggle. The sleeper sofa was made of wire coil springs and impossible to sleep on. I suggest getting a foam mattress topper for it. Loved having covered parking. Communication from Vacasa was superb. Overall, we loved the condo! Would prefer to be right on the beach for convenience. Thank you for helping us make wonderful new memories!

Broken furniture

Our stay was lovely except for an accident that could have been prevented had the property manager or owner inspected the outdoor furniture. An older lady (invited friend) sat down on the outdoor chair which collapsed and sent her backwards hitting her head on the wooden support pillar. She had a good sized lump and some numbness but after icing she felt better. I called the support phone number when it happened so there should be a record of it. Have pictures if needed. Sand festival weekend

We had a small detour with Google sending us to the wrong address. Thankfully your company helped us find our way with the correct address. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool it was nice and cool on a hot day. We did notice in our parking space some water leaking from above We aren't sure who's pipes were leaking but wanted to let you know there is a leak near parking spot 110. The condo we were in was very nice and welcoming. We did hope to find some extra blankets for the pull out we only found sheets and lots of extra pillows. We also appreciate the pool towels more than two would have been nice also. We did find a few items that were left by previous renters under the bed while we looked to be sure we had everything. So I would suggest when Cleaning to check under beds. We did enjoy our stay and would definitely recommend using you all again to friends and family.

Wonderful Getaway

This condo was the perfect little getaway for my husband and I. I’m sure it was because of the time of year but it was quiet and peaceful with other respectful guests in other units. The area was close enough to town for us to drive in for a nice dinner or lunch but far enough out of the business of town. Loved having the access to the boardwalk to the beach, it was nice enough one of the days we were there to walk out and enjoy walking the beach and looking for shells. We took our two new puppies, very small breed, and they enjoyed the beach as well. I liked that this property was pet friendly and noticed several other guests with their fur babies as well. The property has a nice designated area for pets and provide waste bags and separate trash can for pets waste. Everyone that had pets seem to be following all the rules and no one’s dog was barking like crazy or being disruptive of the area. I tried to enjoy the hot tub one evening but the wind picked up that evening and was a bit to chilly for me but it was a nice size hot tub and clean. I noticed several evenings guest enjoying the hot tub so it was popular. I will definitely return and refer my family to this location as well.

Everything was good except for the TV not working issue. That was not resolved dispite assurances that it would be. When we enter an accomodation, turning in the TV should require no effort in our part besides picking up a remote and pressing the power on button.

Clean, cute and convenient!

The unit we stayed in looked updates, clean and well cared for. The complex itself is a bit dated and the beach is not too close. You have to drive to it or take about a five to ten minute walk. Not bad but it's not on the beach if that is what you are expecting.
