"Fun and social vibe. Outstanding service."
The Hard Rock is all about having fun. The staff really engages the guests and it's a great atmosphere for meeting other people. During our October stay, most guests were couples (25-50) years. Few kids. Pool staff keeps the guests entertained and engaged. The bar and wait staff is attentive. The food is solid for an all-inclusive. We talked to guests staying at other all-inclusive resorts in Cancun who told us their places were a total snooze. Nothing but reading by the pool during the day, and the bars were empty by night. The Hard Rock is the opposite. Fun pool & full lobby bar every night of the week. Nightly entertainment shows that are included in the all-inclusive price. We only went off the property two nights during our stay. We will definitely return! Pointers: 1. Tipping isn't required, but the bar tenders will take special care of you if you do. Service is great regardless. 2. Ocean facing room on a high floor allows you to see what's happening any time at the pool or beach. 3. It is only $1 USD to take the bus to shopping/bars/restaurants. 4. Chat up other people at the pool or lobby bar and participate in activities or joint dining experiences (Zen Restaurant Habachi style cooking). There are lots of couples wanting to meet other people, & the earlier in the week you make those connections, the more fun the week will be. 5. Book elsewhere if you are seeking solitude. 6. You must experience Coco Bongo. Get tickets at hotel for shorter lines/better tables.

"Best resort in Cancun "
From the time that you arrive you feel like you are on vacation the staff makes you feel welcomed. It's nice to see familiar faces from previous visits such as Luiz Mgr for the Beverage and bars, Eloisa, Ivan, Guadeloupe and Flippe. The property is well kept. There's a new gym which is great it's four times larger than the old one and it's open for 24 hours a day this was a great addition to the resort.

"Not the same as years before "
This was our second time at ME . Beside the fact that the resort needs to be remodeled and I know it will , I hope they put an effort to go back to the great food the used to have years ago when we were there for the first time , the food was not as good ,the water grill experience was really dissapointing, meat was so bad, dry and tough. No salad bar, etc. definetely a poor menu. Also, we stayed four nights and were disturbed by young intoxicated people screaming and running most hours of the night. Security was not available to help. Hope the new and improved Melia Cancun is better than our experience this past trip.

"Great couples hotel! Highly recommended "
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Grand Oasis Sens In Cancun. We were there for 7 nights and have nothing but nice things to say about our stay. The staff was very accommodating and pleasurable. We only left a couple of times in the week we were there. Overall the value and comfort were very satisfactory. The food was very good. Not one bad dining experience. The grounds were in great shape and we never felt crowed at the pool area, beach, or in the Restaurants. I would recommend the Grand Oasis Sens if you are a couple looking for a great get away. Modesto and Barrido at the Sunset Bar went above and beyond in service every night for us.
