"This was the first time going to Punta Cana and staying at the Excellence El Carmen. The place was beautiful. We had the plunge pool room which was located on the rooftop above the restaurants. The resort is big, but not too big to be able to get around comfortably. They were very cautious to let people in the resort that are not staying, so you always feel safe. We ate at several of the restaurant, but not all of them due the several to pick from and all the food was delicious. Remember, you can always pick several from the appetizers and several entrées so don’t feel like you’re over ordering. The only thing that I can think of is that they need to fix or update the USB ports in the rooms ours did not work but the plugs did. Entertainment was nice, but could have been better, but that is just my opinion."
