Good hotel that met our needs for the night
The hotel met our needs. We stayed one night to attend a show at the Orpheum Theatre. The room was clean, well stocked, everyone was nice. The destination fee of $40 seems to be a junk fee, only a small gym and coffee/tea are included. Parking was also over priced at $75. We parked across the street for half the price.

What a gem!
Comfortable beds! Central location to good restaurants and entertainment. Valet parking was wonderful and easy. Beautiful hotel with a fabulous marble staircase and fireplace in the lobby.

The rooms are very quaint and cozy. It's a nice stay and conveniently located. There's valet parking at the hotel, or even one half a block away. The manager is very attentive and kind. We had a snafu when we first checked in, but the manager went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The beds are soft (which I like) and the pillows are like little clouds. Wifi is also very good. I would definitely recommend and plan to stay again in the future.

Would recommend The Marker to anyone. Reasonable pricing for great hotel. Doesn’t have the doorman concierge service of some hotels and is a great location near Union Square. Tratto is also a great little bar and Italian restaurant. Will be back!
