"Exceeded our expectations! "
Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff, personal driver, THE most comfortable hotel bed EVER! Gorgeous room and bathroom. Location was close to everything you need within walking distance. My husband and I still dream about staying at the Latham hotel. It was that good.

"The hotel was very nice and the room was comfortable"
I loved my stay however, the only downfall was the fact that the power went out one morning and there wasn't a way they could keep us updated on the progress. We had tickets to a show and couldnt take showers, couldnt use the bathroom or elevators. It only lasted a few hours but without any indication of the progress it seemed much longer.

"The BEST hotel"
I am in love with place. I recevied nothing but warm and professional service from everyone at that hotel. To be honest, I hestitate to write such a stellar review because I don't want this place to become too popular becuase the next time I am in Philly, I don't want this place to be fully booked!!!

"Cozy, comfortable Old Town location"
Stayed here overnight to get an early jump on the Flower Show. Parking at a commercial lot adjoining the hotel. Location within walking distance of Historic District, a variety of restaurants/bars and eclectic shopping. We did not dine in the hotel's popular Italian restaurant, but they have a great self-serve breakfast buffet in the morning + newspaper. We had a queen bed room on the 5th floor overlooking the Interstate and Market Street. From the balcony, we thought the traffic noise would be a problem, but closing the balcony door (it was winter!) and with the room heater on, we never heard the traffic. The room was compact, but not too squeezed. The bathroom was roomy due to it's layout. The bed was very comfortable. The only complaint my wife had was that the room lacked room darkening curtains - she is sensitive to light when trying to sleep. According to the front desk person, blinds and sheer curtains are used in windows as rooms are renovated. If you're sensitive to light while you're sleeping, bring a sleep mask. Other than that - it was clean, comfortable and convenient - and is the first place we look at when we stay in Philly... And we should try the restaurant, too. I recommend this hotel to friends who are staying in the city.

"Good stay for reasonable price"
Stayed two nights in sept 2013. I have stayed also at the Embassey Suites. I would have to say that the Embassey was nicer but for the price difference, I would choose this one
