Description

Explore Zoo Miami the way it was meant to be seen—with the full-day safari package. As well as taking in the sights and sounds of more than 3,000 animals, enjoy convenient rides around the zoo on the air-conditioned monorail. Complete the day with a hands-on feeding of a friendly creature of your choice.

Start out in the recently added Florida: Mission Everglades, an exhibit featuring interactive displays on the species of the region. Come face-to-face with a ferocious bear, slide through the water where river otters play, and get close to alligators as you walk carefully over a rickety bridge.

Next, head to east to Asia, where you can scope out fascinating animals including elephants, tigers, and Komodo dragons. Continue on into Africa to make friends with zebras and gazelles, and then into the Amazon to see South American animals such as jaguars and anacondas. End your exploration back toward the front of the zoo in the Australia exhibit, which showcases feathered and furry creatures like emus, koalas, and kangaroos.

Your transportation throughout the zoo couldn't be easier with the safari package, which grants you all-day access to the monorail. Along with aerial views of Zoo Miami's spectacular canopy, the monorail boasts 4 convenient stops for a hassle-free way to get from one place to another. When you're ready, ride your way to one of the animal feeding stations to encounter your choice of a camel, giraffe, parrot, rhinoceros, or giant tortoise.

Wonderful experience! Zoo is didvided by continents which greatly aids in its exploration. Zoo is extremely large so be prepared to walk thousands of steps for hours if you plan on seeing all or most of what the zoo has to offer. Highly recommend for tourists.

We really enjoyed our visit to zoo. The animals were for the most part out and about during our time there. We got to feed the rhinoceros in Asia and it was fun. We went on Wednesday around 12pm. Not overcrowded at that time which was especially nice. The monorail was cool, but would’ve preferred to rent the bikes. Definitely will do that next time. Had a salad at the new Nutrition 305 I think it’s called. It was descent and nice to not have to eat junk food.
