Roam the streets and waterways of Venice with a passionate guide in period dress, hitting up local bars for glasses of Italian wine and a festive spritz cocktail. Along the way, learn about drinking traditions in the canal-centered city and chat with fellow nightlife-loving revelers in your group.
Meet up with your guide at the Ca' Rezzonico vaporetto stop and set out on foot to your first drinking destination, traveling back in time thanks to your guide's period costume and the atmospheric labyrinth of centuries-old alleyways and waterside lanes in the San Polo and Rialto areas.
Make your way to 3 different bars known locally as bacari, sipping on glasses of ombra (regional wine) or a fizzy, festive spritz made with sparkling wine and a bitter liqueur at each stop along the way.
You will also taste the typical venetian cicchetti (tapas) in each bacaro.
Find locally loved bars you might not have discovered on your own, make new friends with your group members and guide, and kick off an evening out on the town in lively Venetian style.
