by Kaminos Travel Duration 5h 30m+ Free cancellation available No booking or credit card fees
per adult Price is $58

The site of Tulum, which rests atop one of the Yucatán Peninsula's few cliffs, is one of the last cities constructed and inhabited by the ancient Mayans. Spend a half-day exploring this fascinating area, which represents one of Mexico's most photographed places.

After pickup from your hotel, make your way to Tulum, where you're greeted by magnificent ruins overlooking postcard-worthy white-sand beaches and turquoise ocean stretching as far as the eye can see. Your guide shares insight into the thriving Mayan culture that once existed here, and explains the significance of the site's many well-preserved ruins.

Marvel at the archeological site, nestled peacefully on a bluff overlooking the ocean, and get a sense of how the ancient Mayans went about their days. Learn about El Castillo, the Temple of the Frescoes, and the Temple of the Descending God—just a few of the incredible ruins that dot the area. Enjoy the opportunity to take a refreshing swim and snap some pictures of this otherworldly place before heading further to a scenic cenote.

Located near pristine Xcacel Beach, this hidden, mysterious sinkhole impresses with its cool, crystal-clear waters. Enjoy an hour of swimming and taking photos in the spectacular jungle pond, after which you return to your hotel.

Our guide and driver were excellent. Would have been five stars only the coach was a little old and worn. A great half day tour and excellent value for money

We did the 6am trip from cancun Tulum is about 1 hour 45 mins direct from cancun it took about 2.5 hours with other hotel pick ups. The tour was value for money you went first to cenote (note its not the most beautiful but nevertheless one you can swim in and not fight the crowds at cenote Gloria) about 40mins there. Then onto tulum 2 hours there and rhen back. No food provided but plenty or chances to buy your own. Also they reorgansed journey home to make it quicker for those in cacun much appreciated. I would rexommend this trip. Also good for multiple languages guides were well.placed.

Not enough time to see the ruins. The tour guide should have given the history and info on the bus to take advantage of the time at the ruins. Supposedly at the cenote we would have 30 minutes but it wasn’t true. It was 15 minutes. The bus driver messed up and we had to pay the consequences.
