The Qingshui Cliff is a mesmerizing spectacle that defines the scenic wonders of Taiwan. Towering over the Pacific Ocean, the cliffs provide an unparalleled panoramic view that will leave you utterly captivated.
Eternal Spring Shrine

Nestled in the lush mountains, the Eternal Spring Shrine offers not only a serene escape but also breathtaking views of the gorge. If you wish to visit the shrine from the parking lot, it takes 15 minutes to walk through a short tunnel trail to reach it. The trail is not wheelchair accessible.
Tienhsiang Youth Activity Center

Tienhsiang Youth Activity Center is the only area in the Taroko National Park where restaurants and a convenience store are available. Restaurants here feature local indigenous cuisines such as, stone plate wild boar cutlet, deep fried creek prawns, stir fried bird's-nest fern, millet donut, etc. We will have lunch here before we resume the trip. Warning : There will be monkeys in the area. Please secure your own personal belongings.
Tunnel of Nine Turns Trail

The Tunnel of Nine Turns Trail is a hidden gem that will exceed your expectations. The trail offers breathtaking views of Taroko Gorge, showcasing the awe-inspiring beauty of the gorge’s natural landscapes. The trail is a 700 meters (0.5 mile) one way trail. It will take approximately 30 minutes to complete the trail. The trail is not wheelchair accessible.
Yanzihkou Trail (Swallow Grotto)

Completed in 2005, the Yanzihkou Trail winds through the stunning Taroko Gorge, offering unparalleled views of marble cliffs, turquoise waters, and lush vegetation. The trail is a 1 kilometer (0.7 mile) one way trail. It will take approximately 40 minutes to complete the trail. The trail is not wheelchair accessible. This is the section of the park where visitors must wear a helmet. Free helmet rental can be found at the entrance of the park.
Buluowan Terrace

The Buluowan Terrace was an ancestral home to the indigenous Amis people. We will first visit the visitor center to have a brief history lesson on the lifestyle of the Amis people then we will visit the Buluowan Suspension Bridge, the highest suspension bridge in Taiwan. The suspension bridge is closed for maintenance on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month.
