Get ready for the tour to the second largest slum in Asia and one of the most densely populated areas in the world. The Dharavi slum was founded in 1883 during the British colonial era, and grew in part because of an expulsion of factories and residents from the peninsular city center by the colonial government and from the migration of poor rural Indians into urban Mumbai (then called Bombay). Due to this reason, Dharavi has diverse settlements inhibiting multi-religious, multi-ethnic, multi-lingual and people of all walks of life.
You will have to reach at any one of the pick-up points with you own arrangements at 9:15am or 1:45pm from Churchgate Station or 10am, 12pm or 2:30pm from Mahim Station. You will be met by our guide there.
