What you can expect

Our naturalist guide will pick you up at your hotel in the early morning to start your 1 1/2 hour trip to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí through one of the most exuberant areas of Costa Rica, the Braulio Carrillo National Park. You will enjoy the panoramic views while traveling.

Once in Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí, you will embark on a boat to discover the richness of Costa Rica's nature along the Sarapiquí River. The boat trip will last approximately two hours, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent rainforest and its inhabitants, such as toucans, monkeys, sloths, crocodiles and many other species.
Then you will arrive at a private reserve where you will have the option of reaching the starting point of Canopy.

The Canopy begins with an explanation of the basic principles necessary to make this experience enjoyable and safe. This is the adventure that allows you to roam around the treetops jumping from platform to platform, in a special system of steel cables that use professional scale material.

Each of the 15 platforms and the suspension bridge are a unique experience in itself. After a two-hour adrenaline rush, you will be able to enjoy a home-style lunch in the private reserve. This tour does not require previous experience.
