The former home of George Stiebiel, described as Jamaica's first black millionaire, is now one of the few public green spaces left in Kingston. and is also curated as a national heritage site. The surrounding grounds hold several world class eateries such as The Grog Shoppe, Norma's on Terrace and Devon House Bakery. Devon House was also selected "4th Best Place in the World" to enjoy ice cream by National Geographic's 'Food Journeys of a Lifetime' publication in 2011.
