What you can expect
Embark on a day's adventure through the Yungas forest, passing landmarks, villages, and diverse biology as you explore the Tucumán region. Cruising in a vintage car with a private chauffeur, you can learn about the history and culture of the area while taking in unbeatable sights.
Step into a vintage 1929 Ford A Phaeton outside of your hotel and begin your journey through the region. Drive through the Southern Andean Yungas, a strip of dense forest on the eastern slopes of the Andes Mountains, and experience the lush plant life of Tucumán. At El Cadillal dike, pause for a look at its amphitheater-like barrage and hydraulic power station before cruising to the El Saladillo viaduct, an impressive 82-foot (25-m) structure made of over 5 million bricks. After visiting these manmade marvels, head up San Javier Hill to experience its natural beauty and breathtaking sights at its peak.
As you turn back toward San Miguel de Tucumán, pause at Villa Nougués to admire its charming Norman architecture and serene surroundings. Once you arrive back in the city, your driver takes you cruising past its main sights, including the San Martin Theater, historic Government Palace, and the main square of Plaza Independencia. Bring your tour to a close and celebrate with a glass of champagne before returning to your hotel.
