What you can expect

Seated in a vintage car, explore El Cadillal dike and its surrounding villages on this revealing half-day tour. Chauffeured by a private guide, see the most important dam in the Tucumán region and expose yourself to ecology, culture, and history of the area.

Get picked up at your hotel and board a fully restored, convertible 1929 Ford A Phaeton. Driven by your knowledgeable guide, begin heading north toward El Cadillal dike, which sits on the Salí River. The dam's water treatment plant supplies San Miguel de Tucumán with over half its water. Explore the dike's amphitheater and hydroelectric plant to learn of its construction and significance in the region.

After the dam, continue driving to Raco, which is known as a popular vacation destination for its peaceful surroundings that are perfect for horseback riding. Take in the serene, wide fields of the area as you pass through, then journey on to El Siambón. Stop by the Christ the King Convent, a Benedictine monastery known for its local sweets and honey. When you turn back to San Miguel de Tucumán, take time to see the sights before ending your tour with a glass of champagne and returning to your hotel.
