What you can expect

With its modernist architecture and vibrant historic neighborhoods, Barcelona is packed with treasures. Uncover the Catalan capital's major highlights and hidden gems with a private guide, and marvel at Gaudí’s unfinished Sagrada Familia on your adventure into the heart of this Mediterranean metropolis.

Meet up with your guide and kick off your day of sightseeing at Montjuïc, site of the 1992 Olympic Games. Admire the view over the city from the hilltop outlooks, and then pass by the iconic bullring and Venetian towers of the grand Plaça Espanya. Wind through the lively Eixample district on your way to the Passeig de Gràcia, the elegant boulevard where architect Antoni Gaudí’s most recognizable works are located. Admire the undulating facade of the La Pedrera apartment building, and snap photos of the colorful roof and skeletal balconies adorning the Casa Batlló.

Continue your exploration of Gaudí’s aesthetic at what's arguably his greatest accomplishment—the still-under-construction Sagrada Familia. Marvel at the soaring towers and ornate exterior of the basilica, and then skip the long lines to maximize your time inside. The luminous nave and stained-glass windows are enough to take your breath away, and your guide offers fascinating insight into the future designs for this one-of-a-kind place of worship.
