Today we have a beautiful journey towards Tallinn. On the way to the Estonian Capital, we stop in the town of Sigulda situated in the picturesque Gauja river valley.
Since the time when the tribes of Balts and Livs fought with the German crusaders, Sigulda has boasted of exciting legends and mighty castles, which are situated in the distance of a cannon shot from each other.
In Sigulda we visit Sigulda Castle of the Livonian Order and the largest cave in the Baltics - Gutman's Cave. Further we enter Turaida Museum Reserve where we get acquainted with expositions concerning archaeology, culture and art history. The Turaida Medieval Castle is the most visited museum in Latvia, which tells the story of events that have occurred during the last 1000 years.
After a break for lunch we continue to the Estonian summer resort of Parnu. We do a short tour of the resort before we continue through the North Estonian land of forests and arrive in Tallinn.
