Jurmala is the largest resort city in the Baltic State. The “City on the Wave” is well-known for its natural treasures-the mild climate, sea, healthy air, curative mud and mineral water and 33 km long white sand beach.
In Jurmala we discover a combination of charming wooden houses built in the beginning of the last century and modern resort buildings.
Together with a guide we explore the White Dune, Jurmala Open Air Museum, Lielupe Railway Station, House of Aspazija, Jurmala City Museum, Sea Pavillion, Sculpture “The Turtle”, Former Swimming Establishment of E.Racene & the central pedestrian Jomas Street with its numerous cafes and local amusemens.
