Tyndis tuk tuk tour will take you to experience the rich culture and heritage of Fort Kochi and Mattancherry, which were under the colonial rule for more than 444 years. During this tour we will take you to a few unique places like Dhobi Khana (Manual Washing place of the washerman community), Freedom Struggle Prison, Spice Market etc. 500 Years of immigration has gifted Fort Kochi a deep sense of multiculturalism. At Least 32 communities live here speaking at least 16 languages.
Our Tyndis story telling driver Mr. Karthik born and brought up in Fort Kochi itself, Other than local history he is very passionate about football and fitness.
He has an experience of 10 years in storytelling, and you can hear a lot of unique stories about the locality from him

Church of Saint Francis

St. Francis Church, in Fort Kochi, originally built in 1503. One of the oldest European churches in India and has great historical significance as a mute witness to the European colonial struggle in the subcontinent. Vasco da Gama died in Kochi in 1524 when he was on his third visit to India. His body was originally buried in this church, but after fourteen years his remains were removed to Lisbon
