What you can expect
Take a journey through the vibrant colors of the Calchaquí Valleys, exploring geography ranging from lush forests to airy deserts in a vintage car. Discover the villages of Tafi del Valle and El Mollar as you drive through breathtaking scenery and the exquisite vegetation of the diverse region.
Get picked up from your hotel in an antique car, a 1929 Ford A Phaeton. The fully restored vehicle retains its original vintage look, making it an utterly classy way to get around. Head out into the Calchaquí Valleys with your private chauffeur, who provides commentary as you pass through villages and historic sites on the way. Outside, broad sugarcane and cranberry plantations roll by, quickly turning to lush jungle vegetation as you pass through the narrow Quebrada de los Sosa valley.
Visit the town of Tafi del Valle, where thick forest melts into a soft meadow stretching toward the base of a mountain range. Continue on toward El Mollar, pausing at the Los Menhires Archaeological Reserve to witness impressive stone menhirs carved by indigenous people. The dry desert climate of this area provides a unique contrast to the flourishing flora from earlier in the day. Turn back toward Tucumán, passing through the gorgeous colors of the Calchaquí Valleys again, and end your trip with a celebratory glass of champagne.
