What you can expect

Detailed Itinerary
This tour will take you to discover the heart of wine and pisco production in Ica. You will start the trip with a pick up at your hotel in Huacachina or Ica, from where you will depart for an unforgettable experience.

First Stop: Tacama Vineyard
With over 400 years of history, the Tacama Vineyard is the oldest in South America. Here you will visit the historic hacienda, admire the tower with panoramic views, and stroll through acres of grapes. During the visit, you will discover how wines and piscos are produced using modern industrial processes. To culminate the experience, you will enjoy a tasting of the wines and piscos produced in this iconic place.

Second Stop: El Catador
The second stop will take you to the traditional vineyard El Catador, famous for its pisco production. This strong and aromatic distillate is a symbol of Peruvian culture. Here you will learn about the artisanal process of making pisco, from fermentation in earthenware jars (botijas) to the final distillation. In addition, you will have the opportunity to taste their pisco and wines.

Optional Lunch
During the tour, you will have the option of having lunch (not included) in one of the wineries, where you can enjoy typical dishes of the region.

Third Stop: Sunset in the Desert
The best experience that you will live in Ica, travel through the extensive dunes aboard sand carts, live the surf on the sand and take pictures of a dream sunset.
