What you can expect
While exploring the islands of Panarea and Stromboli, you will be able to enjoy their beautiful waters thanks to the stops we will make, as well as a breathtaking sunset viewed directly from the sea.
During the evening portion of the tour to the “Sciara del Fuoco,” you will be able to observe the spectacular eruptions of the active volcano from the sea.
Our motorboats allow you to reach the Aeolian Islands in complete comfort, thanks to their spacious interiors, bar service, and panoramic viewing area. Departures are scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays (during the month of July), Fridays, and Sundays.
The tour includes:
Departure from Milazzo Port at 11:00 AM bound for Panarea, with a stopover of approximately two hours.
You will have the opportunity to explore the prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese, which dates back to the Middle Bronze Age (1500–1300 BC) and can be reached on foot in about 45 minutes, or by one of Panarea’s characteristic electric taxis. You will then reach Cala Zimmari, a secluded bay nestled among the rocks, and enjoy the sun at Cala Junco, one of the most beautiful coves in the Aeolian archipelago.
Next, set sail for Stromboli, the Island of Fire.
During the cruise, you will be able to admire the picturesque village of Ginostra, which is cut off from the rest of the island and can only be reached by sea, as well as the imposing Strombolicchio, a volcanic rock islet on which a lighthouse was built to aid navigation.
Once ashore, you can visit the characteristic black-sand beaches, such as Forgia Vecchia Beach and Ficogrande Beach. Then, head to the Church of San Vincenzo, from whose square you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view.
You will then board the boat and sail at sunset towards the Sciara del Fuoco (“Stream of Fire”) to witness the spectacular eruptions of the active volcano from the sea.
Arrive back in Milazzo at around 10:45 PM.
- A visitor's tax of €5 per person is payable on site. From October 1, the fee will be €2.50 per person.
