Though 1,100 sq. mile Olympic National Park would take a lifetime to explore, we dive deep into some of the park’s highlights on this small group day trip. Olympic National Park is a UNESCO World-Heritage Site remarkable for its ecological diversity and expansive wilderness. This naturalist-guided tour takes you across Puget Sound by ferry to the northeast part of the Olympic Peninsula, where you’ll explore the moss-draped forests, azure lakes, and striking mountains that define the region.

Ascend to the dramatic Olympic Mountain range and stop at Hurricane Ridge where a panoramic view awaits you (weather permitting). On the way up, look for marmots and black-tailed deer. At the top, marvel at the jagged peaks, old growth forest, the San Juan Islands, and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. With your small group, your guide tailors the day to you with other scenic stops such as Lake Crescent, Marymere Falls or the Elwha River Valley.

If you're staying downtown (hotel, AirBNB, etc) we'll pick you up! We'll call the day prior to your trip to confirm exact timing. We'll bring breakfast bakery, local coffee and tea. We'll also bring a fresh, local, family-style lunch with local wines! Snacks, sparkling water and water are included all day.

Though most travelers visit Olympic National Park in the summer–we love exploring there in the winter season too! The crowds thin, traffic evaporates, and the silent old-growth forests and placid lakes provide the perfect escape from Seattle. You may even want to try strapping on snowshoes if the weather is right at Hurricane Ridge!

Great way to see tbe park. If you love the mountains, then you will love this tour. Sean our guide knew the park well, where to go, which picture taking spots were the best, where the wild flowers were most profuse, and which hikes to take. On the way he told us about the history of the park, and other stories of the towns that we passed by on the way to the park. He was attentive, fun, knowledgable and took realky good care of tbe group. This tour also includes a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island. In addition, it includes a delicious and healthy lunch of chicken, salads, and wine. It is a long day, but a very great way to enjoy nature -the emerald green forests, the snow capped mountain , the blue green lakes, and the meandering rivers. Thank you Sean for a wonderful adventure!
