Dominating the Seattle skyline, Mount Rainier's glacier-capped summit reaches a breathtaking 14,410 feet (4,392 m) above sea level. Venture out to the National Park for a day spent admiring its alpine vistas, wildflower-filled meadows, and old growth forests with a knowledgeable guide.

Your guide, a friendly Northwest native, picks you up right at your hotel in Seattle or near the airport/pier to begin the drive to Mount Rainier. Discuss the unique geology and climate of the Pacific Northwest as you approach Mount Rainier National Park, and then ride along scenic, forested roads as you climb up to the Visitor Center at Paradise, which offers views of the mountain and surrounding region from 5,400 feet (1,645 m).

Set off down well-marked nature trails to explore the park's beautiful terrain on foot, selecting from easy boardwalks to dirt trails depending on your interests. Snap photos of the massive, icy hulks of Rainier's glaciers.

Continue through the park, pulling off to see the cascading whitewater of Christine Falls and Narada Falls, which tumbles down a forested cliff side. Listen to your guide share facts and stories about the park and peak before leaving this majestic landscape behind and riding back to Seattle on the other side of the mountain.
