What you can expect

Go for a ride on one of the greatest scenic trails around Sedona with a tour that shows you the lands and wildlife at the edge of the Colorado Plateau. This RUGGED excursion through the wilderness gives you the chance to surround yourself with incredible vistas as you get to know the country up close.

Once you meet your guide, a rugged 4x4 jeep carries you out of town and along a 120-year-old wagon trail. Admire the towering ponderosa pines and the spectacular red sandstone rocks of the cliffs as you ride through Bear Wallow Canyon on your way to the Colorado Plateau.

The drive covers more than 2,000 feet (600 m) in elevation, and your knowledgeable guide has plenty of stories to share about the history and geology behind the landscape. Get a look at landmarks like Snoopy Rock and Merry-Go-Round Rock, the wilds of Munds Mountain and Mitten Ridge, the overlook at Schnebly Hill, and more to get a true sense of the iconic sights before the jeep carries you back to Sedona.
