What you can expect
Head to the Kualoa Ranch in Oahu's Ka'a'awa Valley for an electrifying zipline adventure. From platforms nestled in the treetops, plunge through the native plants and lush expanses. The canopy's 14 different lines, 2 suspension bridges, and 3 mini-trails ensure diverse views and unexpected thrills.
Upon your arrival at Kualoa Ranch, receive a warm welcome from your hosts, who also provide interesting tidbits about the area's history—each zipline is named after a Hawaiian tradition—and detail important safety features. Then climb up a ladder, cross a suspension bridge, and stand ready at your first platform.
Now that you're geared up and strapped in, look down to the lime-green flora below and out across the breathtaking beige fields and mountainous terrain, all blanketed by the pale blue sky above. Then take a deep breath and jump. As you speed along lines that extend up to a quarter mile (400 m), let go and let your body spin around for an exhilarating rush. Speed from line to line, including 7 different tandem sections.
After riding 14 different ziplines, hiking 3 mini-trails, and learning Hawaiian traditions from the friendly staff, climb back down your last ladder and unwind from your high-speed, treetop experience.
