What you can expect

After pickup from your hotel at 6:00 AM, drive to Maharat Road. Line up with the other local devotees and join the ceremony by giving alms to the monks. This is a sacred tradition for Buddhists in Thailand.

The alms that will be provided include some rice, Thai desserts, water and lotus flowers. You will get the opportunity to give out these offerings and will receive a blessing of good fortune from the monks as they walk past.

Next, head to the Maharat Market to learn more about the local culture and enjoy a local congee breakfast with coffee. Then, visit the White Temple, also know as the Kaew Ko Wararam Temple. Learn more about the Buddhist religion and temple architecture.

The next stop is for great photo opportunities of the giant Black Crab & Eagle statues. Admire views of the Krabi River and Khao Kanap Nam, also known as the Twin Mountains. At 10:00 AM you will be transferred back to your hotel.
