Overview

Welcome to the Dojo of the Night.
Tonight’s training is “Kichijoji Bar Hopping.”

A modern samurai who has long roamed the bars of Kichijoji will guide you on a night-time journey of discipline, skillfully wielding “chopsticks” and “sake” instead of a sword.

Through three stages of training — standing bars in the nostalgic Showa-era Harmonica Alley, craft beer, and sushi with Japanese sake — you will experience the essence and warmth of Japan’s night culture.

By the end of this journey, through the bonds with the local people who breathe life into the land of Tokyo, a samurai spirit will surely be kindled within your heart.

Bookable until 3:00 PM on the same day!
Only 15 minutes from Shinjuku by JR Chuo Line — the tour starts in Kichijoji at 6:30 PM.
Finish: Around 9:30 PM – perfect timing to catch your train and return to your hotel in central Tokyo.

You may continue your own training safely near your hotel.
By then, you have left the samurai’s hand and begun your own journey.
