What you can expect

  • This highly popular tour will take you to Jericho - the oldest city in the world. We'll stop at an archaeological site where 25 ancient settlements were uncovered.Next, we'll see the broken Canaanite wall as we recall the conquest of Jericho by Joshua in biblical times. our next stop will be the sycamore tree Zachaeus climbed to see Jesus- and then we'll enjoy the views of Mt. Temptation.

  • On the western face of the mountain, we'll see a Greek Orthodox monastery clinging dramatically to the cliffs. This site was chosen in order to be as close as possible to the place where Jesus spent 40 days and 40 nights fasting in the wilderness. It was here that Satan tried to tempt Jesusby offering him the Kingdom of the World in exchange for his faith. We'll ascend the mountain by cable car for a breathtaking view.

  • Perhaps the most emotional stop on this tour is at Qaser el Yahud; believed to be the authentic site where John baptized Jesus in the Jordan River. This is also the point where the Israelites crossed over into the Promised Land after the exodus. If you wish, you can also get baptized here.

  • The tour comes to an end with some downtime on the shore of the Dead Sea at Kayla Beach. At the beach swim and float in the salty Dead Sea waters and enjoy a mineral-rich mud bath.
