Mini Tour, Basseterre City: A city of Basseterre offers visitors a wonderful opportunity to explore the island's rich history, cultural heritage, and stunning natural beauty if the full island tour is not desired. A one-hour (1 hr) tour of rich historical facts and then two hours of the beach.
Berkeley Memorial (Pass by)
History and Heritage: Pass by the Berkeley Memorial in the Circus. A mini version of Big Ben Clock. The Circus comes from British influence on the island and is a popular meeting point and serves as a hub for taxi transportation. This venue also serves as an area for festivals and celebrations throughout the year showcasing local music, dance and performances. Providing a vibrant and lively atmosphere for both residents and visitors to enjoy
Independence Square (Pass by)
The Independence Square where slaves were sold is now a venue of relaxation where people have lunch or fairs. The Square is surrounded by Geogian-style buildings and the Catholic Church and the Court House. As you drive along throughout the streets of Basseterre you will pass by the Anglican Church which was burnt twice. A drive along the Bay Road to the Cenotaph, a memorial landmark honoring the soldiers who fought in WW1.
South Friars Beach

Friars Beach: Journey towards Frigate Bay the hotel, villas, and restaurant zone. An area where hotel guests savour all the amenities that are offered. Next a drive uphill toward Timothy Hill will be a short stop for some picture-taking. Looking out from this hill will give you stunning picturesque camera worthy shots of the tip of St Kitts. Viewing the Caribbean Sea on the right and the Atlantic Ocean on the left. Certainly a photogrphic moment. Finally, your friendly guide will drop you off at Friars Beach for your two-hour relaxation. This is perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun and or swimming in clear turquoise water. Rent beach chairs, umbrellas, or water sports equipment. Upon arrival pay for a chair, umbrellas, etc. at the entrance. The beach house has washrooms and you can also enjoy the local cuisine and refreshing drinks. Certainly a day of cultural and historical interactions and beach therapy. Remember your sunscreen and stay hydrated while having fun.
Basseterre (Pass by)
Enjoy a quick 30 minute tour throughout the city of Basseterre passing by the Berkely Memorial, Independence Square, the Anglican Church, and the Cinataf War Memorial. The thirty minutes of journeying to and from the beach will certainly allow you to arrive back to the ship in comfortable time to take in all the relaxation you would have gotten.
