You will look over the church and the square. You will try the first traditional Lucca dish, the "Buccellato" in a local boutique pâtisserie. Typical sweet bread, Buccellato, is made from simple ingredients. It is a baked product with very ancient origins, originally with a circular and ring shape that has recently given way to oval versions that are more convenient to pack and transport.

Characteristic stop in the walled city where, you will try out the traditional Lucca pasta in a local restaurant, the "Tordelli". A fun and tasty experience to get to know the city like a true local! Tordelli, Lucca's regional dish par excellence, a pasta stuffed with all kinds of goodies: meat, cheese, chard, mortadella and dressed with delicious meat sauce or with oil and cacio cheese. A unique speciality that you can only find in Lucca.

You will also have the chance to eat a fresh dish of cold cuts. You will enjoy a lovely glass of red wine in the square or inside an old-style tavern/bar. Nearby we'll be able to try the local street food, the cecina, by a street shop vendor before trying some chocolate in a trusted bar.
