Overview

The Western Slope has access to some of the best climbing in the Continental US. Grand Junction, Colorado is situated on the flanks of the Colorado Plateau. Centrally located between both the desert and mountain environments we have the best of two climbing worlds. You can challenge yourself on the famous limestone walls of Rifle or revel in the magnitude of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. We have sandstone cliffs, featured conglomerate, limestone crags and 1.6-Billion-year-old granite basement rocks all within a 2-hour circle.
