What you can expect

Start the tour at 8 AM where you will be picked up from the lobby of your hotel in Veracruz, then travel to Xalapa for 1.5-hours. When you arrive, gain an introduction to the city known as a 'pueblos mágicos', and learn everything you wanted to know about the famous local coffee known as 'veracruzano'. Find out why the city was named 'The Flowers City' due to its gardens and fog, and is also known as 'Atenas Veracruzana' due to its culture and history.

Then, visit the Anthropological Museum of Xalapa which contains the 2nd most important prehispanic Mesoamérica collections in the world including Olmeca, Totonaca, and Huasteca objects.

Next, visit the villages of Xico and Coatepec, which have also both been appointed as 'pueblos mágicos' as part of a Federal program that recognizes cultural, gastronomic, and artistic traditions. Find out how Xico is known for its fiestas patronales, traditions, and delicious local dishes such as 'mole'. Also visit the famous Cascada de Texolo, surrounded by growth. Finally, discover why Coatepec is famous for its world-famous coffee on a visit to the coffee museum. Learn about the process of making coffee from bean to cup, as well as gaining an understanding for the traditions and culture that surrounds drinking it.

At the end of the tour, return to Veracruz where you will be dropped off back at your hotel.
