What you can expect

Enjoy Akaroa's first and only stargazing experience. Fully outdoor guided tour, our Night Awe include observations through naked eye, binoculars and telescope. Small group tour, maximum 10 participants.

Meet your astronomy guide 10 minutes before your tour departure at Akaroa Heritage Park's carpark (280 Long Bay Road - Akaroa 7583). Follow him on a stellar journey full of wonder and discoveries, away from light pollution.

Depending on the time of the year, temperatures might reach single-digit levels. Grab an extra layer just in case! We also suggest you wear enclosed shoes.

As sunset times vary throughout the year, our tour departures will be set accordingly.
