Description

Float your way to some of Alaska's most productive fisheries with a rafting trip along beautiful wilderness streams. This full day of relaxation on the water lets you try your hand at snaring rainbow trout, Arctic grayling, and salmon surrounded by some of the most magnificent scenery around.

After breakfast in a charming country lodge, you head out to the creeks that run through the countryside and begin your sightseeing journey. Knowledgeable guides lead you to some of the most pristine stretches of water as you maneuver the nimble inflatable raft past a few logjams and over the occasional sandbar to reach the most secluded spots.

With some of the best rainbow and Dolly Varden trout to be found in the Matanuska Valley, you get plenty of time to put your fly-fishing skills to use. Have lunch amid the wildlife to complete your spectacular jaunt through this spectacular area.
