Description of the experience:
Enter the authentic heart of Tuscany, at a small family-run farm where wine is a tradition passed down from father to daughter. You will be personally guided by Laura, the owner and winemaker, who has inherited her father's technical expertise and passion – a winemaker, cellar master and sommelier by vocation.
This is not a sightseeing tour, but a technical and personal encounter. Laura will take you through the rows of vines and into the family winery, sharing the production philosophy of a small-scale operation that focuses entirely on exceptional quality and respect for the Peccioli terroir. Sensory Journey (5 outstanding wines):
The experience explores native grape varieties interpreted with artisanal precision:
The Native White: A Tuscan IGT made from Trebbiano Toscano grapes, which expresses an extraordinary minerality and structure in the terroir of Peccioli.
The Character of Sangiovese: We will taste the “Celso” Rosso IGT, a Sangiovese-based wine that expresses the purity and strength of the area's premier grape variety.
The Tradition of Chianti: You will taste the Chianti typical of this area, an authentic blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Malvasia, which stands out clearly from the wines produced in other parts of the region.
The Elegance of Red: You will discover “Scarlet”, our Rosso Toscano IGT, to complete the picture of the winery's red wines.
The Historical Archive (The Exclusive): The highlight is the opening of the Passito Nicchiaia 2007 IGT Toscana.
This experience differs from others in Tuscany because it offers the exclusive opening of a historic 2007 reserve (Passito Nicchiaia) and a technical comparison between Sangiovese blends (60% vs. 90%) led directly by the owner and winemaker, ensuring a level of authenticity and depth that commercial tastings cannot offer.
Philosophy of Pure Tasting:
To allow you to discern every tiniest organoleptic nuance (just as a professional sommelier would), we will accompany the wines exclusively with Tuscan bread and our own Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVO). This technical choice is crucial: bread and oil cleanse the palate and enhance its characteristics, preventing overly strong flavors from cured meats or cheeses from masking the delicate notes of the wine.
