Take time to escape to heaven on Earth in this half day tour and let the natural beauty of El Yunque Rainforest captivate you with its lush green vegetation, amazing flora, huge boulders, cascading rivers and scenic views. You will be immersed in a wild, secluded paradise and be mesmerized by Mother Nature’s beauty at its best. At the same time you will be fully infused with the vibrating energy of El Yunque’s rivers and clean air, just like the indigenous Taíno tribe did centuries ago. Nature will be your accomplice in this exhilarating adventure. We will begin with a stop at La Coca Falls—a 85 feet (26 m) waterfall—quickly comes into view with its magnificent drop down onto huge rock formations and a shallow-water pool. Great for picture opportunities! Then climb 98 spiral steps to the top of Yokahú Tower at 69 feet (21 m) tall, where views are unobstructed and far-reaching. At this point you are 1,500 feet (457 m) above sea level and it is a great place to relax before your return trek. Depending on the pace of the group we will stop at Angelito Trail (or equivalent) for a brief moment in order to enjoy a walk and waterfall. This stop is not guaranteed.
