In the morning we will reach a lovely farmhouse among the olive trees, where animals are raised in the wild and food is grown without using pesticides. Here, after a guided visit to the farm, we will get in touch with the Umbrian culinary traditions: we will learn the biological phases from the grain to the grind, learn to recognize the various types of flour, the flour processing techniques, and experience the flour processing into typical Umbrian pasta. At the end of the class, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch with the result of our work and other typical products! After lunch, we will reach Assisi for an adventurous activity to discover the nature surrounding mount Subasio. We will have a guided quad excursion of about one hour in Mount Subasio with a pleasant stop in the middle of the forest for an aperitif included. This activity will give us the chance to live an unexpected side of Umbria and no special skills are required.
