Palermo Arab-Norman and the Cathedrals of Cefalù and Monreale is an Italian serial site listed by UNESCO in the List of World Heritage Sites.

The series includes nine artistic-monumental assets of the Arab-Norman architecture during the Norman period in Sicily, seven kept in the city of Palermo and one each in Cefalù and Monreale. These are two palaces, three cathedrals, four churches and a bridge.

During the ascent, while Cefalù gradually becomes more and more fascinating looking at it from above, you will be able to see the fortified walls, the old cisterns that conveyed the waters and the Temple of Diana. Following the path you will arrive in a few minutes (40 minutes if not trained) at the remains of the castle. On top of the Rocca di Cefalù you can enjoy a 360 degree view of the Sicilian coast. Simply wonderful.
