ITINERARY:

Cusco - Quillarumiyoc - Tarawasi - Chonta - Viewpoint of Cóndores - Cusco

• Start: 6:00 a.m.
• The trip begins in the city of Cusco.
• During the tour we will visit two beautiful and interesting archaeological centers: Quillarumiyoc and Tarawasi, which were possibly used as astronomical observatories and places of rest for the Incas.
• We will continue to the town of Limatambo where we will have lunch and then continue to the Andean community of Chonta.
• The adventure begins with a panoramic view of the community of Chonta (3,400 masl) and the snowfall of Salkantay and Humantay, after walking an hour and a half. through a beautiful path until you reach the Huaco viewpoint, which is on the right bank of the Apurimac river canyon (3,350 masl).
• From the viewpoint we will have a spectacular view of the Apurimac Canyon and we will have the opportunity to appreciate El Cóndor, the largest carrion bird in the world, considered the sacred bird in the Andean cosmovision.
• After visiting and enjoying this beautiful trip we will start our return to the city of Cusco, arriving at the hotel at approximately 8:00 p.m.
