Description

Travel back in time by venturing to ancient Coba and Tulum, 2 of the most remarkable ancient Maya towns. Climb to the top of the 137-foot (42-m) pyramid of Nohoch Mul, swim in spectacular Cenote Wayak, and experience real Mayan Traditions: Honey & Chocolate demonstration on-site.

Following hassle-free hotel pickup, your first stop is the picturesque city of Tulum, which is perched high above the crashing waves of the Caribbean Sea. This ancient site boasts well-preserved architecture, including a massive pyramid and the Temple of the Frescoes, which was used as a solar observatory. After visiting the ruins, head down to the pristine beach for some time in the sun.

Continue to Canamayte complex, where a local shaman welcomes you with a purifying ceremony. Next, head over to Cenote Mariposa and go for a swim in the crystal-clear turquoise water. After cooling off, stop by a local Mayan demonstration to learn more about the local traditions: Authentic honey & Cocoa.

Fuel the next part of your journey with a buffet lunch before exploring the extensive archaeological site. Walk to the top of the stunning, authentic Maya pyramid of Nohoch Mul for a rewarding 360-degree view of the Yucatán Peninsula and the rippling ocean, and then enjoy a leisurely ride back to your hotel through the countryside.

Our guide was very good and presented a lot of information that I never heard on previous tours. He was great. Climbing the pyramid in Coba was awesome. Our next stop was to eat and swim. I was a bit disappointed with the Cenote visit as it really wasn't a cenote like you would expect. It was a small swim spot under an overhang that had water pumped in so not even sure if it still was really natural. The sales people at that stop (with the food and swimming) were a bit aggressive and the prices were pretty high. They said they took credit cards, but then in the end, they said it didn't work and wanted cash. Food wasn't the greatest - but maybe I was turned off due to the sales process! The last stop was a park in Tulum with structures you can self-visit.

Muy amable y cumplidos con todos ....explican la historia de pais ....lo único malo y que se escapa de las manos de los organizadores es el tranque a la llevada del hotel.....todo lo demas fino

The bus was more modern, w/drop down table , foot rest, and team were good in historical review. Tulum was amazing place and views of carribean ocean breathtaking. Lunch at cenote was authentic (not much options for vegans). Cenote was beautiful/open/ easy access, and shaded. Coba (made up for any faults)and Pyramid (that can still be climbed!) was the best! Other companies had better bus service(drinks, snacks, charismatic personalities)
