Know before you book

  • Children 4 and younger are complimentary.
  • Children 4 and younger must be accompanied by a paying adult.
  • Children 5-10 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
  • Hotel pickup is available from hotels located in Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana, Botafogo, Flamengo, Catete, Lapa and Downtown (Centro).
  • At least 2 people are required for this activity to take place. Otherwise, the tour may be rescheduled.
  • All participants who are over 18 years old must present proof of full vaccination. A negative PCR test is not acceptable.

What you can expect

Enjoy all the energy of carnival in a unique exciting night of live samba dancing with beautiful samba dancers in a special group school rehearsal. The samba schools start practicing for Carnival way in advance. That means they start composing songs, practicing the routines, creating the costumes and building the floats. Some of the big schools open up their doors to visitors to come witness a carnival rehearsal at the samba school.
