Know before you book

  • The activity is available for individuals aged 12 and over. It is a legal requirement that all persons under the age of 18 be accompanied by a responsible adult. Young people aged 16 and 17 are permitted to drive if they are accompanied by an adult and hold a valid driving permit.
  • Please note that mobile phones and cameras are not permitted during the tour but photographers will be on hand along the route to capture the event on camera (please note that photo packages are not included in your entry).
  • All individuals are required to carry their driver's licence for insurance coverage purposes.
  • Young people aged 16 and 17 are permitted to drive if they are accompanied by an adult and hold a valid driving permit.

The trail winds through the wilderness of the Riviera Maya, crossing jungle paths and light off-road terrain that deliver a dynamic and scenic ride. Expert guides accompany the caravan at all times and mark photo points and rest areas along the route. Note: this is not a racetrack—it’s a real adventure tour where you move as a group, with pauses for safety and photo-friendly opportunities.

Minimum age to drive is 16 with valid permit; passengers under 18 may ride in the Double Rider option with a licensed adult. Closed-toe shoes are required, and comfortable light clothing is recommended.

ATV Xperience is open daily, with multiple start times throughout the day (morning and afternoon). Location is easily accessible—just 10 minutes from Cancun International Airport and for visitors staying further south, the Playa del Carmen option is also available next to Xplor Park.
