The tour was great. Ms. Jackson was our driver/guide, and she did a really great job. Had already completed a few other tours, and realized that we may re-step many of the same sites and hear the same information, but really, it was a unique experience.

The driver's are knowledgeable about Boston and it's history. The problem with our tour was the buses were full and if you got off to explore, you may have to wait a while for another bus that has room. Traffic in Boston is terrible with the construction going on in several parts of the city. Overall the tour was educational, but we didn't get to explore as much as we would have liked.

The drivers were informative and had some great stories to tell. Particularly Poe was a great storyteller. However was disappointed in how few trolleys there were. We waited 45 minutes for the first trolley to show up - at stop 14. Then had to depart the trolley at stop 1 and waited 30 minutes to board a trolley there. It appeared that they tour company did not anticipate the demand for service thie day we went. I do not feel I got the value for the price paid.

The tour guides are all very well educated in US history. They added a lot of information about each stop that you can not get anywhere else. They were entertaining and personable yet, each driver had their own distinct styles. The tour its self was very convenient and allowed me to get off and spend more time at stops of interest to me or ride past stops that were less interesting to me. I loved the hop on hop off feature and the friendly drivers.
