Know before you book

  • The minimum age to attend this workshop is 12 years old. NO exception.
  • No previous cooking skills necessary
  • We don't accept spectators nor infants, everyone that comes participates
  • Children between 12 and 18 years old need to be accompanied by a participating adult to join
  • This activity is unfortunately NOT wheelchair accessible as it takes place in a old house

What you can expect

Learn how to make delectable Belgian chocolates from scratch in a fun 2.5-hour workshop! You’ll craft at least 35 chocolates yourself, including Pralines and Mendiants chocolates before taking them home in a nice box! We also serve a complimentary home made hot chocolate and you will be able to apply your newly learned skills in your own kitchen.

We work in teams of 2 or 3 participants per chocolate tempering machine. First you will learn to make your chocolate pre-crystallize and the theory behind it. Then we will work on the Praline shells, then on the filling. Moving on, we will design the Mendiants chocolates before piping the filling the in the shells with a pastry bag and ten cover the shells with a thin chocolate layer to close them. While we wait for the chocolates to cool down, we will serve you our home made hot chocolate and share you a couple of tricks to make it smooth and delicious.

The activity takes place at our private workshop.

This activity is gluten free, you can make dairy free chocolates upon request. We only offer dark chocolate workshop (sweet, not bitter).
