Come in this family friendly private tour to visit the Monastery of Batalha, built by King Dom João I in 1386, in honour of Santa Maria da Vitória and the Shrine of Fátima, built in honor of Our Lady's apparitions in 1917.
Batalha monument was built by the Portuguese monarch to thank Our Lady, the victory of Portugal at the Battle of Aljubarrota in 1385, against the powerful Spanish army.
