You will meet at Castle Junction in Banff National Park for your tour briefing and to complete waivers and medical forms before convoying 15 minutes to the trail head. This is a half day hike taking about four hours covering about 400 m elevation gain and loss over 7.5 km return. Throughout your experience you will enjoy amazing views of the Kootenay Valley and Stanley Headwall, all while learning about wildlife behaviour, forest ecology after a fire, geography and geology. Before heading back enjoy a five star lunch spot with views of the glaciated Mount Stanley, its towering waterfalls, and rock faces.
