Ayutthaya Historical Bike Tour
We run this tour even for one person—feel free to book if the time is available. If you're the first group (2 or more), you'll be upgraded to a private tour at no extra charge.
After pick-up by tuk-tuk from your accommodation, we’ll take you to the starting point near Wat Ratchaburana, where the bike ride begins.
We’ll cycle along peaceful, shaded backroads and visit:
Wat Ratchaburana, where ancient treasures were once hidden inside a stone tower inspired by Hindu beliefs.
Wat Mahathat, famous for the Buddha head in tree roots and beautiful temple ruins influenced by Angkor-style architecture.
Wat Phra Si Sanphet, once the largest royal temple in Ayutthaya during the 15th century.
We’ll also visit a local market, and make a quick stop at Wat Lokaya Sutha (the Giant Reclining Buddha) for a photo and a water break.
Then, we’ll ride out of town along a quiet road, passing by many hidden ruins and abandoned temples, until we reach Wat Maenang Pluem — where you can receive a special blessing from a monk and a small amulet with spiritual meaning.
Our final part takes us through Hua Ro Market and ends at Chao Phrom Market, where you can enjoy fresh local fruit, delicious mango sticky rice, or ask your guide to help you find a tasty local noodle shop or help arrange your transportation.
